Selection Process

The selection process for the TNUSRB Constable Exam 2023 consists of the following steps:

  1. Written Exam: The written exam will consist of two parts: Part I – Tamil Language Eligibility Test (qualifying in nature) and Part II – Main Written Exam. The Main Written Exam will consist of objective-type questions on the following subjects:
    • General Studies
    • Numerical Ability
    • Mental Ability
    • Logical Analysis
    • Information Handling Skills
  2. Physical Measurement Test: Candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for a Physical Measurement Test (PMT). The PMT will consist of the following tests:
    • Height
    • Weight
    • Chest expansion
  3. Physical Efficiency Test: Candidates who qualify the PMT will be called for a Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The PET will consist of the following tests:
    • 100-meter race
    • 800-meter race
    • Long jump
    • High jump
